The Residency Test App is designed to allow users to track the number of days they spend in Israel. The app works automatically, behind the scenes, and records the country in which the user is located each day.
The records can be used either to help determine whether a person is an Israeli resident during a specific tax year, or in order to allocate income between countries for tax purposes.
The application was developed by Yair Benjamini, a leading Israeli tax lawyer, in order to help his clients be aware of the influence of the number of days they spent in Israel on their tax status.
